Membrane diffusers have a number of advantages over other methods of aerating wastewater or ponds etc. Some points to note are:
HIGH OXYGEN TRANSFER RATE
Equally distributed free pores on the diffuser membrane, constantly produce 1-3mm fine bubbles that increase the surface contact area with wastewater, greatly increasing the oxygen transfer efficiency.
INTERMITTENT AERATION OPERATION
Double sealing action prevents back flow penetration of sewage and water when air flow is interrupted
CONSTANT BACK PRESSURE
The self cleaning design prevents clogging and is highly resistant to fouling.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
Ease of installation saddle kit, connectors and threaded nipples allow the diffusers to be installed on most existing piping without the need for special tools.
LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION
Low capital and operational costs provide for an attractive return on investment. Some installations can offer a rapid payback on capital investment. |
