No tools, plumbing changes or disconnection of pipes is required. At the heart of the ScaleClear system is an advanced frequency-sweep system that delivers a complex and rapidly changing oscillating field to a signal cable. The signal cable is wound around the outside of your incoming water pipe. A transverse-field signal effect is carried inside your pipes and throughout your plumbing system. The transmitted field induces changes in the crystal structure and properties of deposited Scale - to a form that no longer sticks to the inside of pipes and is flushed out. At the same time, the electronic process prevents any incoming scale from coming out of solution as a precipitate or deposit. The system can be installed within a few minutes, does not require calibration or maintenance.
